With the poor water conditions in most areas, we recommend changing the inline water filter once (or twice if needed) per heating season. Perhaps once in the Fall and once along about January or February. The Z-100 Mineral Deposit Eliminator needs to be checked (and possibly changed) at the start of each heating/humidification season (around September 15th).
